Our founder, Simon Selkirk, spent twenty years in the recruitment industry before becoming a Business and Economics teacher. He has a wealth of experience placing people into businesses across the UK. He also has practical, first-hand experience of the frustrations school leavers have when considering their futures.
This unique blend of experience is at the core of Prologue.
From day one, Prologue is focused on employability. We develop the commercial capability employers value and build it through real workplace experience. Then, using our recruitment heritage, we actively promote our graduates to the right employers.

Career preparation at Prologue begins in the first week and builds progressively across the year.
Students develop career direction through structured self-discovery, build confidence through employer talks and real workplace exposure, and graduate with a CV grounded in genuine evidence, a professional LinkedIn presence and interview preparation delivered by recruitment specialists and hiring managers.
Prologue Direct
Our business partners are embedded in the Prologue programme - as mentors, work experience hosts, guest presenters and workshop leaders. By graduation, these businesses know our students and have seen them work first-hand.
We are building an engaged network of businesses across the East Midlands, London and the South East who understand what a Prologue graduate brings. Many of our graduates' first roles will come directly through this network - employers who are already invested in our students before they enter the job market.
